Adelaide, a city of one million-plus people, is known as the City of Churches.  Adelaide is one of the safest, most economical and user-friendly cities in Australia.  It is charming and cosmopolitan, with a reputation as the 20-minute city as it is easy to get around and you can always get from A to B in less than half an hour.

The city centre is surrounded by parklands and close to the River Torrens and Adelaide Botanical Gardens.  A 20-minute tram ride takes you from the heart of the city to the popular beachside suburb of Glenelg.  Also, within 30 minutes drive from the city district is the expanse of the Adelaide Hills.

Adelaide reflects a huge diversity of ethnic communities in the lively cafes and restaurants that provide the best value and quality in Australia, with immigrants from 150 countries making their home in South Australia.  This cultural diversity is also show-cased in the biennial event, the Festival of Arts.

Paradise College of Ministries is situated in the suburb of Paradise, which is approximately 15 minutes drive north-east of the city and within 10 minutes drive of one of Adelaide's major shopping centres – Tea Tree Plaza.  It is close to Adelaide's Torrens River Linear Park, which runs through the city of Adelaide from the hills to the sea.  Linear Park provides walking/bike trails along a tranquil park setting.

International StudentsParadise College of Ministries is 10 minutes' walking distance from one of the terminals of Adelaide's O'Bahn Busway system, which takes you direct to both the City Centre and Tea Tree Plaza and is linked to the general bus services of the Adelaide metropolitan area.

The College is within approximately 15 minutes drive of several student residencies that provide accommodation for students studying at the Universities, TAFE's and private colleges of Adelaide.

Sunrise Christian School (Reception to Yr 7) is situated adjacent to the college/church complex and other Christian schools are available within close proximity.

Because it may not be possible to arrange internship supervisors for international students it is recommended that international students enrol in the Certificate IV in Christian Ministry – Leadership Foundations stream or Influencers School of Youth Leadership stream or the Diploma of Christian Ministry – Advanced Leadership stream.
